Subject: IP Address Change - May 17
CommBank is committed to providing a secure and reliable platform and for your business to benefit from the latest acquiring technology. As part of this commitment, CommBank is moving CommWeb to new state of the art data centres with the latest security technology. The first phase of this migration involves migrating the IP address from a Telstra address to one owned by CommWeb.
What does this mean?
CommWeb will be migrating to the following IP addresses:
Test Environment (MTF):
What do I need to do?
You will not need to make any changes if you have integrated using either the host name and/or used DNS IP addresses. However, if you have a firewall configured with the legacy IP address range, then this will need to be able to process the new IP address as well.
Detailed instructions are provided below. You will need to provide this information to your IT support staff to complete the testing and implement any required changes for you.
When will this happen?
The dates for the migration of Test and Production Environments will occur in the coming months and a separate communication will be issued when dates are finalised. If your infrastructure does require an IP address update, please ensure you are ready by the 15th of June 2017, to accept traffic from this IP address space.
Once dates are finalised, there will be a cut-over period so if you do need to make a change and you have not made the updates in time we will monitor the incoming transactions and will be in touch. However, if you have not made the change by the end of this cut over time your transaction processing may be impacted.
