Purchase the extension and download the link from the Extension Works invoice you will receive via email or download via your Extension Works Account.
Login to your WordPress dashboard. Click on Plugins | Add New from the left hand menu
Click on the “Upload” option, then click “Browse” to select the zip file from your computer.
After the zip file has been selected press the “Install Now” button.
You will be prompted to install the ExtensionWorks Framework.
Click on the link provided and install the Extensions Works Framework. Activate the Framework.
ACTIVATE THE EXTENSION WORKS LICENCE KEY
To activate the ExtensionWorks Licence go to: Dashboard > ExtensionWorks Licences
Go to WooCommerce > Settings, and set up the following:
Set the Origin Country to Australia.
The currency required is Australian Dollars.
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout
If you see eWay as an option down below, that’s a good sign. It means your eWay Payments Extension has been activated.

Stay on the same screen, and click on the eWay link under payment gateways. It’s this one:
You will be taken to the eWay Payment configuration screen. You should see the following options:
The first box in the most important. Make sure it is checked. If you don’t have eWay enabled, it won’t show up as a payment option when your customer checks out of your store.
If you are not using Rapid you can add your Customer ID only.
If using eWay Rapid you will also need to enter your:
- eWAY Customer ID
- eway Customer Password
- eWay customer API KEY, this can be found under your MYeWay account.
Do a quick test run.
Once you click save, your eWay Payment Extension should be setup. Go ahead and do a test run to make sure it is working properly.
