Fastway can only obtain rates on the CHECKOUT page.
THE FASTWAY API REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING:
IN THIS ORDER
1, The first requirement is the:
City / Suburb ( Customers are really required to enter the Suburb)
Example: Doncaster, Geelong, Townsville
2, The second requirement is the:
Example: 3108, 3220, 4810
Use these combinations to test with:
Burwood East 3151
Fastway uses the City / Suburb and the Post Code in that order to provide a shipping rate to your website.
When this information is entered on the checkout page, City and Post Code, a request is sent to the Fastway API to retrieve the relevant service rate for the city and postcode entered.
In the screen shot below l started typing in Burwood and you can see there are a number of options for Burwood and the Post Code must match up to the Suburb.
If you are having problems obtaining a rate on the checkout page, TRY THE FOLLOWING:
1, Please remove any checkout page customisation, use the standard WooCommerce Checkout page. (Straight out of the box)
2, Activate a Standard Word Press Theme ( Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve) and see if the problem still exists.
